I don't think he liked the bug in his eye, but this little bird seemed to tired to do anything about it.

Last week I posted pictures of these guys freshly hatched. They are growing fast and have filled up the nest nicely.

This is a full body shot of the moth. I think it's a Luna moth. At 4.5 inches he was hard to miss. I had to get some macro shots in. This is the first time I've seen one like this in Virginia.

He just kept letting me get closer maybe it was a model in another life.

This is a close up of a moth wing. I'm surprised he let me get close enough to take this macro shot.

This guy wasn't afraid of me at all and let me get pretty close. He needs somebody to shave his back. This moth was pretty big 4.5 inches long with a 4 inch wind without spreading the wings.

No Pictures only Worms Please!

These little birds are less than 24 hours old. I Noticed that every time I walked outside a bird flew out of the rose bush so yesterday I looked for a nest and saw 3 little eggs. I walked outside today and the mommy bird flew away so I peeked in the bush and when I saw the chicks I ran and got my camera to take some quick shots.

This rose bush is full of pretty roses. It is also the home of a mommy bird and her baby chicks.
